Hello rainy season! Hello Japan. It’s been a while.梅雨、こんにちは。日本の皆さま、こんにちは。 お久しぶりです！ Things have been a little crazy in our household over the last couple of weeks so I must apologize for the lack of real communication.うちでは、この数週間の間、いろいろなことがあり、皆様とコミュニケーションを取る暇がなく、本当に申し訳ありませんでした。Last week, my 18-year-old daughter left home and headed off to the UK for four years of college studies. 先週、１８歳の娘は４年間の大学入学のためにイギリスへ旅立ちました。With farewell parties to organize, belongings to pack and my regular classes to teach, I haven’t had much time to put my thoughts down on paper or to cry into my tea, come to that! 送別会したり、荷物のお用意したり、いつも通りのレッスンを教えたりしているうちに、気持ちを書く時間もなく。。。そう言えば、涙を出す暇もなかったですね！The good news is that we now have our very own onsite reporter to update us on all the latest cake and tea trends from the UK. I look forward to sharing them with you all. プラス面では、これから紅茶やケーキの本場のイギリスから直接レポートを頂けるようで、皆さまにシェアをするのが楽しみにしています。Meanwhile, my students continue to make me feel the love with their gestures of kindness.その間に、生徒さんの優しさに救われていました。 This week, one lovely lady baked bread.今週、アフタヌーンティーの素敵な生徒さんからこの美味しい手作りパンを頂きました。 Last month, a high school boy congratulated me on the opening of my new school in the best way he knows how: with an amazing drawing of his favourite manga character. 先月、高校生の男の生徒さんは当スクールのオプーン記念に自分が大好きなマンガキャラクターを素晴らしく描きました。These are only two examples of what makes my job here so worthwhile. So, I send you many,many thanks. これらは、唯一の２つの例ですが、このような生徒さんがいるからこそ、私が毎日頑張れます。皆さまに心から感謝しています。
