In baking land, this week we are keeping things simple with another easy-to-make recipe from my trusty old recipe book: Dutch honey cake. 今週のアフタヌーンティーレッスンでは、古いレシピ本で見つけった’オランダのはちみつケーキ’を食べています。A little investigation (ie the internet) informed me that, in the Netherlands, honey cake is almost a national institution. 少しだけ調べたところ（インターネットが便利なものですね）、オランダでははちみつケーキは定番なメニューです。With a variety of recipes, it can be eaten at any time of day, including for breakfast.いろいろなレシピがあり、朝ごはんでもよく食べられているそうです。 Now that’s the kind of food culture that I like. 素晴らしい食文化ですね！Anyway, this particular version is made with a few simple ingredients and is easy on the palate during these hot summer months. とにかく、このレシピはとても簡単で、暑い夏でも食べやすいケーキです。Why not try it out. 一度作って見てください。Check out the recipe here. レシピはこちらへ。。。
