This Bakewell tart bakes well, even in the heat of summer..see what I did there?

For this week’s recipe, I have chosen a traditional (and very delicious) English dessert: Bakewell tart. Those of you who are familiar with the UK will know that Bakewell is actually the name of a town in Derbyshire. This wonderful mix of pie and cake is thought to originate from there.
