Good morning bakers! お菓子作りの皆さま、おはようございます。This week, it’s kisses all round as I celebrate a new page on my web site. 今週、ホームページでの新しいレシピページの記念に皆さんに‛キッス’を送ります。There are now a grand total of 50 bilingual baking recipes on the original page, so I decided it was time to start writing chapter 2! 以前のレシピ集は何とバイリンガルなお菓子のレシピは50種類に上りました。ということで、第二ページを開くことに決めました。Anyway, this week’s recipe is for these rather delicious ‘lemon kisses’. とにかく、今週のレシピはとても美味しいレモン‛キッス’ビスケットです。To be honest, I had never heard the term ‘kiss biscuits’ before and can only presume that they are so called because the two halves of the biscuit coming together are rather like two sets of lips forming a kiss. 正直に言えば、今までサンドウィッチビスケットを何度も食べたことがありますが、このようなビスケットを‛キッス’と呼ぶのが初めて知れました。キッスのようにビスケットの二枚がくっ付くからこの名前で呼ばれているだろうが。。。 If anyone can enlighten me further, I would love to hear from you. 詳しいことをぜひ教えてください。Anyway, for a sweet little kiss, check out the recipe on the new page. 甘いキッスを一度味わえたい皆さま、こちらへどうぞ。。
