Our rented house was in a quiet neighbourhood, overlooking a bowling green. My husband and I decided that we wanted to walk to it from our house. We set off mid-morning and after walking down into the valley and along the canal bank, we began the long, steep climb up to the top of the hill. 夫と私は家からそれに歩いて行きたいと決心しました。午前中に出発し、谷へと運河の土手に沿って歩いた後、丘の頂上まで長く急な坂道を登り始めました。It took us just under 90 minutes and it was well worth the effort. The views from the foot of the tower were breathtaking. We had a 360 degree panoramic view of the Pennine hills on all sides of Huddersfield. 90分もかからず、努力に値するものでした。塔の麓からの景色は息をのむようでした。ハッダーズフィールドの四方のペナイン丘陵を360度パノラマで見えました。
We sat down near the ancient well to have our picnic and enjoy the views. Sandwiches have never tasted better! 古代の井戸の近くに座ってピクニックをし、景色を楽しみました。サンドイッチの味はこれまでにないほど美味しくかんじました！
